What is UVE Hub? What does “UVE” Mean?
UVE (pronounced “of-ee”) is an accredited Hub in the Savory Global Network that supports land stewards with Holistic Management education, ecological monitoring, and context-based consulting. Does anyone ask the tech-bros what their names mean? Well, as a woman-led company, we are committed to the endeavor of communicating well. The name reflects our purpose: Uplifting the Voice of the Ecosystem. At UVE, so that enduring well-being is created by encouraging holistic decisions, so that all beings may be the full expressions of themselves.
Who are you? What’s your mission/vision, and where do you work?
We are a women-led organization serving land stewards, producers, organizations, Tribal Nations, and community groups.
Mission: We guide land and livestock stewards to repair and regenerate through holistic decision-making, informed by sound ecological, financial, and well-being planning, implementation, and monitoring.
Vision: Pastoralists, rural communities, and ecosystem functions are re-paired, flourishing, and prosperous.
We serve the Intermountain West Coast region of the United States, with global access through online offerings.

UVE is an accredited Savory Hub. We teach and apply Holistic Management and deliver Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV™) monitoring and training in our vast region and online.

What is Holistic Management? How is it different?
Holistic Management is a whole-system decision-making framework aligning land, livestock, people, and finances to a shared holistic context. It differs from conventional management by integrating ecological processes, human well-being, and enterprise viability and by emphasizing continuous monitoring and adaptive planning.
What is Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV)?
EOV™ is a scalable, outcomes-based monitoring methodology that measures indicators tied to regeneration (soil health, biodiversity, hydrologic function, and vegetation dynamics). Data is collected in the field by trained monitors at set intervals and used for planning, benchmarking, and market differentiation (e.g., Land to Market™ participation).
How do I become an Accredited Professional or Educator with UVE?
Complete foundational Holistic Management courses (in-person or virtual) with a Savory Hub like UVE.
Pursue the Savory accreditation pathway (Associate → Accredited Professional), including mentored teaching and practice.
For EOV, complete monitor training and demonstrate protocol competency.
Benefits: professional credibility, mentorship, and the ability to teach, consult, and monitor within the network.
What geographic area do you serve?
As Savory’s Intermountain West Coast Hub, we serve California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota—and offer virtual programs globally.
What courses and events do you offer? How do I register?
We offer live virtual series, self-paced courses, and 5-day in-person immersions at the UVE Learning Site (Union, Oregon) and partner ranches. Current offerings and registration are listed on our Courses & Events pages.
How much do courses/services cost? Do you offer financial support?
Course prices are posted on each event page. For example, our self-paced Holistic Management Foundations is currently listed at $99. Please see individual course pages for the most up-to-date pricing and options.
How do I monitor or verify my land’s ecological health?
Start with EOV: establish a baseline, set up monitoring sites, and collect field data at agreed intervals. UVE provides training and services, and you can begin with our EOV Monitoring Inquiry form to scope your project.

What are the prerequisites for joining a course?
Foundational courses welcome beginners; advanced offerings and accreditation tracks benefit from prior HM exposure. For online courses you’ll need reliable internet and Zoom access; field monitoring involves on-land data collection. Check each course page for specifics.
What technology/tools will I need for online courses or monitoring?
Online learning: a computer or tablet and internet for live sessions or self-paced modules.
Monitoring: basic field gear and the ability to collect site data; training provides the methods and tools.
Can I work with UVE remotely if I’m outside your region?
Yes. We offer virtual courses and self-paced learning that are accessible globally; we can also explore remote support for monitoring and consulting on a case-by-case basis.

What is “Land to Market,” and how does it relate to UVE?
Land to Market™ (L2M) connects brands and buyers to verified regenerative producers using EOV data. UVE’s EOV services generate the outcomes data that underpins L2M participation and market differentiation.
